Potion of Weaving

The Potion of Weaving is a unique item introduced in Minecraft 1.21 - Tricky Trials Update. When consumed, it grants the Weaving effect for 3 minutes. This effect allows entities affected by it to spawn cobwebs upon death. Specifically, 2–3 cobwebs can generate within a 3×3×3 area centered on the entity. These cobwebs will only form on solid blocks with a full top surface, meaning they cannot appear on top of other cobwebs or partial blocks. The Potion of Weaving provides the only renewable method for obtaining cobwebs, making it a valuable tool for players looking to farm or strategically use this resource. To brew this potion, combine an Awkward Potion with a special ingredient in a Brewing Stand.
